This morning I found Eanswers.com set as my browser’s default homepage. I tried to change it, and I thought I succeed. However, once I turned off and turned on my PC, it was still there on Chrome. I repeat the same steps few more times and restarted the computer. But it didn’t work… Is it a virus?

The problem that you are dealing with might be called a virus. However, it's not a real virus. The reason why your homepage has been changed to Eanswers.com is the installation of browser hijacker. This potentially unwanted program (PUP) may have entered the system bundled with some free programs that you have recently installed. Indeed, you may not have any idea about it.
However, in order to change the homepage, you need to remove the hijacker from the computer. In order to do that, you can follow manual Eanswers.com elimination instructions, or you can simply scan the computer with the anti-malware program.
Sincerely,
2-spyware team.
