Hi I recently got a cerber virus on my Laptop and tried to remove it. I even factory reseted the computer. Today I bought a new Laptop and used the same Microsoft account to make the user. When I started the New computer for the first time the desktop was changed and I got the same message again. Is it possible for the virus to infect the account?

Thank you for the inquiry. Since currently Cerber virus has evolved into a virus which is capable of connecting the once infected computer to a botnet – a network of devices which either contain or send out the infections with the malware, it might be your case.
Firstly, we recommend installing an anti-spyware program, for example, FortectIntego. Make sure it is the newest version.
What is more, it is likely, that the virus resides in one of the attachments of your recently received emails. Delete them.
Thirdly, if running the system scan and deleting the emails do not help, change your IP address. If your computer is attached to the mentioned botnet, changing the address might help. Contact your Internet Service Provider for assistance. Lastly, reinstalling the operating system might be a solution as well.
