Hi guys,
I have some issues with FileHunter. I’ve this program running on my PC for a couple of month. Strange thing is that I don’t remember installing it. Nevertheless, when I first tried to launch it, it did not respond. No reaction at all. However, I’ve noticed one strange thing. Chrome and IE deliver pop-ups ads by FileHunter. Is that’s just a huge coincidence or is these things related? Could you please help me remove FileHunter virus? Thanks in advance!
FileHunter virus does not respond. No error message. Nothing. Simply does not respond. Removal not permitted too.

Thank you for your question. We are glad to have an answer and a quick solution for this issue! In fact, FileHunter is adware and potentially unwanted program, so most probably you don't remember downloading it because you did not do this on purpose. This "download manager" is usually spread bundled with freewares and sharewares, so a couple of month you've probably agreed to install a software package.
The advertising during your browsing is directly related to the presence of FileDownloader virus. Therefore, if you want to stop seeing irrelevant pop-up ads, you have to remove this program ASAP. You've mentioned that you are not allowed to do so. It's interesting what specific issues arise when you attempt to do so. Nevertheless, check whether you are initiating manual removal properly by following these instructions. If you do everything correctly but FileHunter removal is not successful anyway, it might be that another potentially harmful software does not allow doing so. In this case, we strongly advise you to check the system with FortectIntego.
