Help, help! This is some self-spreding trojan on my computer!! It added .zcrypt extensions to filenames, and what’s worse, I cannot open these files anymore! My USB was plugged into the infected computer, I store some important documents in this USB, and I plugged it into a computer in my school. Guess what, ZCryptor virus has infected that computer too!! I guess it somehow duplicated itself and saved a copy into my USB. Please, help me to fix these computers!!!

Do not plug any devices that were infected by this virus to other computers! ZCryptor is a new variant of ransomware - it acts like a worm, and it means it can replicate itself. Besides, it encrypts files on affected devices, rendering them useless. We recommend you to remove ZCryptor ransomware immediately using anti-malware software (e.g., FortectIntego). You can find more information about this virus and a comprehensive removal guide in this post - ZCryptor ransomware virus. How to Remove? (Uninstall Guide).
You can try to restore your files from Volume Shadow Copies.
