It seems that I have recently noticed “Ads by LuckySave” showing up on my computer A LOT. I figured out that I should look into Chrome extensions, and to my surprise I found LuckySave installed there. I DID NOT INSTALL IT MYSELF. How did it appear there??

LuckySave is a PUP (Potentially unwanted program) that can also be categorized as adware. These programs spread through various networks of freeware/shareware packages which include PDF readers, codecs, media players and other programs that users search for. These freeware installers have additional options added to installation steps, and usually third party applications are installed by default. The only way you can avoid installing them is by selecting "Advanced" or "Custom" installation type, and unchecking all the checkmarks that agree on installing third party software.
If you would like to know how to remove LuckySave from your PC, we have compiled a fully detailed guide here. Nevertheless, it's always best to check your PC with automatic antivirus/antimalware tool, for example, SpyHunter, to make sure that you have no other PUP, adware, malware or even viruses installed on your computer.
