HELP!!! I think I’ve been hacked!
So my friend tagged me a couple of days ago on a stupid photo that said “you’ve made it to instagram’s ugly list 2016.” It said that I can see the full list by clicking a link in a bio. I clicked it, and now my friends are complaining that I’m tagging them in similar pictures, too, although I HAVE NEVER done it! Please tell me what’s the solution to this issue…

As we can see, you have encountered one of the latest malware trends - Instagram virus. Instagram users have become targets to malicious software developers and cyber criminals lately, so you should be very careful when using this social media platform. If you ever get tagged in a suspicious picture, never click on provided links because they can infect your device or steal sensitive data. We are afraid that your account has been hacked and that you should take actions to recover it quickly. If you still can login into your account, change your password immediately. Otherwise, contact Instagram staff. For more information about this virus, see this post: What's Instagram virus and how to protect yourself from it?
