No, Rensenware was created as a joke and its source code was taken down off the GitHub shortly after appearing on it. This ransomware wasn't created with an intention to extort money; however, the developer of it has received some criticism for publishing program's source code online, so he posted an apology and a Rensenware forcer, which writes the target score into memory and helps victims to decrypt their files.
