Hi, I’m having trouble with MPC Safe Navigation. All the files appear to be removed through manual methods and malware bytes but it still comes up when i launch IE. I have changed the settings and there is no evidence of it there either. I uninstalled IE after installing Firefox but windows appears to have reinstalled it and MPC safe is the homepage that pops up and not the specified google one

Thank you for contacting us. This program, MPC Safe Navigation, is regarded as PUP (potentially unwanted application). It also works as a browser hijacker. Therefore, reinstalling IE did not eliminate the problem. The malware uses secondary files which disperse across the registry, In addition, those files help the hijacker renew its activity when you reinstall the browser.
