Hello, I am using antivirus and it has blocked Ransom_s.FQ for me. I googled and it seems to be something called Sage 2.0 virus? Can you provide more information about it?

Your antivirus definitely caught Sage 2.0 virus! You are lucky, because Sage 2.0 ransomware encrypts files on victim's computer with an unbreakable encryption algorithm, taking victim's rights to access them. In other words, the virus takes victim's personal files hostage and demands to pay a ransom. Only criminals have the special key that can unlock files encrypted with their virus, and they demand ransom payment in exchange for the decryption code. Sadly, the ransom is extremely high - $2000. We do not think that anyone should risk losing such amount of money because criminals are likely to take the money and make off. Victims who get infected with this virus can fully restore encrypted data if they have a backup, sadly, not many people care about backups.
