I purchased this from a pop up that looked like it was from my Norton anti-virus. Now when it asks to run on my PC the publisher cannot be verified. Was this a scam? should I not run it?

If you have purchased Reimage from the pop-up and you have difficulties in verifying it, it might have been a scam and running it might cause some computer-related programs. Try updating and scanning your computer with current antivirus program. If your purchased software is malicious, antivirus should detect it.
Don't forget that installing software from the ads and unreliable sources might be not safe and lead to money loss or other serious issues. Software must be installed from the official or the legitimate websites.
