Hi! I was deceived sooo badly that I want to cry now. CryptInfinite ransomware has infected my computer and I really believe that upon paying the ransom all my files will be restored. Naive. I spent $500 and for what? For nothing. Neither money nor key. I believe that files will not be restored, but maybe it’s possible to get my money back? I paid the ransom yesterday and up till now no news from CryptInfinite owners…Please help!

It seems that you are in a serious trouble. CryptInfinite ransomware is remorseless. It encrypts the most sensitive data on a victim's computers and then requires to pay the ransom. As your example proves paying the ransom is not a solution because, in most of the cases, decryption code is not working or not provided to the victim at all.
Unfortunately, but there is no chance of getting your money back. If you would have been reacting immediately and contacted with your bank for this issues, the payment might have been terminated. However, as the whole day has passed, the payment probably already reached the recipient. In fact, the only thing that we can offer for you, it to install a free software for the data decryption, for example, Photorec or RStudio. These programs may help you recover at least a part of the data. Besides, make sure that since now you start maintaining your computer properly. In order to keep it virus-free, we recommend installing FortectIntego and downloading its updates regularly.
