Hey there, just wondering how these two apps have landed on my pc? One of them is called SaferBrowser, and another is called Search.yourpackagesnow. I do not remember installing these. It seems that they are related – my homepage is set to Search.yourpackagesnow.com page, which says that Your Packages Now is powered by SaferBrowser. Can you please explain what does these changes mean?

You have two different potentially unwanted programs (PUPs) installed on your PC. However, both these programs are related - they belong to 'browser hijackers' and 'potentially unwanted programs' groups. The developers of SaferBrowser software also develop numerous annoying and delusive browser hijackers. Saferbrowser hijacker has a bad reputation, and it definitely should not be installed on your computer. So does the Search.yourpackagesnow.com hijacker - this software attaches suspicious browser extensions to all Internet browsers and changes homepage (replaces it with a dubious search engine, which delivers sponsored search results). Search.yourpackagesnow.com search engine can cause Search.yourpackagesnow.com redirects to high-risk web pages, and that is why computer security experts do not advise using it. You can remove both PUPs manually - just follow the guidelines that are provided in these articles:
1. Search.yourpackagesnow.com removal guidelines;
2. SaferBrowser removal guidelines.
However, we strongly recommend using an anti-spyware software and removing both of these computer threats at once. You can do that with FortectIntego.
