My computer somehow contracted the FBI moneypak trojan with WinXP, even though my ESET, and Spybot apps were both up to date. I have Win7 on another HDD in the same computer, so I ran scans on the entire system, to no avail. Found SpyHunter online as a potential fix, downloaded & installed it. SpyHunter promptly loaded an update, and did a system scan, which only revealed a few suspect items with DogPile cookies, etc. Even these could not be removed by the “trial” version, without purchasing the full version. Obviously, I won’t be buying software that cannot detect the trojan it was advertised for… 🙁 What’s next?
