The problem is the Windows Defender Pro adware itself. This potentially unwanted program (PUP) belongs to the spyware category, which mean that some anti-virus programs might not be able to detect it as a computer threat. This low-level computer threat usually slithers into computer system seamlessly, then affects the existing web browsers and pops up an annoying alert message every time the user opens the browser. However, you should know that this bogus app seeks to promote tech support scam number, which may be a premium rate number. The message it displays for you is the same message this app displays for every computer user, so you should not think that this message states any accurate information about your system security status.
You can get rid of this problem by uninstalling Windows Defender Pro virus. This can be done automatically - with a reliable anti-spyware program, for example, FortectIntego. Alternatively, you can uninstall Windows Defender Pro virus manually - follow the instructions that are provided in this article: Windows Defender Pro fix.
Good luck!
