Description: Process mrtmngr.exe is related to QuickBooks and Quicken finance applications, published by Intuit. These applications use mrtmngr.exe process to connect to the Internet and download updates and some files from Intuit home servers. In most cases it is recommended to leave mrtmngr.exe running in background. However, under some environments process mrtmngr.exe may cause problems and behave unnormally. In such cases you should disable Quicken or QuickBooks background downloads and prevent Mrtmngr from starting automatically on Windows startup. Within the application navigate to "Edit">"Options">"Internet Options" and disable background download manager.
