File ipend.log is related to browser plugin ClientMan. I got rid of this by putting a Read-Only Attribute on the c:\windows\data folder. after i deleted the appv2.dat file..... I have not got it back since.... I also deleted msgked.exe and the unstsa2.exe files...works for me..!!!
