Does anyone know if there is a site on the internet that you can check an url or a website to see if it is infected with a virus or not?

According to a friend of mine this is the virus she has been infected with.

Virus
Okay. It is called "Downloader-AAI" trojan. Another word for it is W32/Bagle.gen!7B14EBCA.

I ran a virus scan on my computer and it did not show I was infected with a virus but I was infected with adware/spyware and a hacker.  So I'm not certain if the scan I used was unable to find this virus or I am not infected with it.

Here is the site she believes infected her computer.  She says the virus is on page 2.

My scan found the following infections:

HackTool/ProcLog.A

Adware/BrilliantDigital

Can you help me to remove the above 2 infections?

I appreciate any assistance you can provide.  Thank you!  Smiley

I really do like the site she believes infected her computer so I am hoping it is not infected.

Hi Rose. Welcome to 2-Spyware.com forums!

The web page, which address you have provided is not available anymore. According to described symptomps it could contain malicious code able to install a downloader trojan, which was dropping the Bagle worm. However, your friend could pick those parasites elsewhere. As I know there are no such services that could check a remote page for viruses. Just try to avoid illegal, insecure and unknown web sites.

The BrilliantDigital adware and the ProcLog.A hack tool can be removed with the help of a reliable anti-spyware program. Some antiviruses cannot detect and completely eliminate them. Please take a look on the list of reliable anti-spyware software. I suggest choosing a recommended spyware remover like Spyware Doctor or Microsoft AntiSpyware (now Windows Defender).
