Hello, visitor!

The Hijack This log analyzer has analyzed your log. Please take a closer look on the results.

Your system seems to be infected with malicious parasites. Please follow the steps below in order to eliminate the infection and clean up your computer.

1.   Download the Pocket KillBox utility. You will need it later to delete parasite-related files and folders.
2. Use HijackThis to fix the following entries:

O2 - BHO: PBlockHelper Class - {4115122B-85FF-4DD3-9515-F075BEDE5EB5} - C:\Programmi\Web Accelerator\PBHelper.dll

3. The following entries are not malicious, but some of them are not used anymore. You may use HijackThis to fix a few of them. However, please keep in mind that some of the entries marked as Questionable or Not Needed are fully legitimate and might be required by installed software to work properly, while some others might be related to certain parasites. It is up to you to decide whether you need any of them, or not.

4. Now restart your system in Safe Mode. This step is very important!
5.   Use the Pocket KillBox utility to delete the following files:

C:\Programmi\Web Accelerator\PBHelper.dll

The following files and Windows registry entries are marked as "unknown". Currently, the HijackThis Log Analyzer cannot provide required information on these items. The files and entries in the list below can be both malicious and fully legitimate. Because of this, please do not take any action! O23 - Service: COM Host (comHost) - Symantec Corporation - C:\Programmi\Norton Internet Security\comHost.exe

After going through all the steps, run another HijackThis scan and post a fresh log to the HijackThis analyzer. It is possible that some parasites your system was infected with were not removed completely and may restore themselves later.

Thank you for using the 2-Spyware.com HijackThis log analyzer!

Hi Zigrinof. Welcome to the 2-Spyware.com forums!

Please try this:

1. Navigate to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Display. This should open the Display Properties window.
2. Click on the Desktop tab and then within it click on the Customize Desktop button.
3. Another window should appear. Within it select the Web tab.
4. Now you should see the list of web pages. UNCHECK THEM ALL and delete everything except for My Current Home Page.
5. Apply changes.

Thank you GTO.
The problem is that the "Web" window on my Desktop Properties window is disappeared and I'm not able to replace it. I can't even change my starting page of my IE7, or better, when I change it, on restarting IE7 the starting page is the same that was before the changing    ... Spyware Doctor runs our by our, but no spyware was detected. I'm  pretty sure this is a problem of the Windows XP Registry, but I'm not confident with it, so   ... What do you think about this? Can it be possible? And more interesting for me, can it be fixed  Cheesy ?

Hi, Zigrinof.

Use HijackThis to fix the following entry:
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =

Quote
I can't even change my starting page of my IE7, or better, when I change it, on restarting IE7 the starting page is the same that was before the changing

Which page is it? Please provide its address.

Download the Cleandesktop utility and run it. It should restore default wallpaper.

By the way, HJT Analyzer is a robot .

Thank you GTO!!!
Running Cleandesktop my wallpaper and my Desktop Settings finally were fixed  Cheesy .
About the starting page, here it is http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=74005, and from here it moves automatically to http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx, which I don't know what it is or what it is related to. I'll  try to run hijack and then I'll tell you what appens.

P.S.
I apologize for my mistake. I had the suspect to write to a robot, but I wasn't sure of it   ...

To GTO.

It's still me...
I take advantage of you and expose you another problems of mine whith IE7.
After opening 3 or 4 slides or cards (excuse me, but I don't know exactly the name of them in your language...) of a single window, the toolbar at the top changes from italian (my language) to something that seems to me to be japanese ( ) and from that time for all the successive windows/slides that I open on the same session. But when I close and reopen IE7, all works fine till I do not open the usual 3/4 slides. Also in this case, SpywareDoctor do not find any problem.
Do you have an idea of what it can be?

Hi Zigrinof.

Your last log looks clean to me .

The web page http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx seems to be safe. It belongs to Microsoft. However, I cannot say why you are redirected there.

That would be tabs, I guess.

Well, I never seen anything like that. You should check your Regional Settings and default system language. Maybe it has something to do with this. I also suggest checking your Windows fonts. Maybe your default font is not Tahoma, but something exotic and buggy. I cannot say for sure. It seems to be an IE bug.

I highly recommend downloading and trying out Mozilla Firefox. This will not fix all the issues with your Internet Explorer, but instead may allow you to forget them. In my humble opinion, Firefox is safer and faster than IE .

Hi,

About the http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx it usually appears when you install Msn explorer, or when you install explorer 7 and maybe even if you installed a new moden or coonection route.

To GTO and junior08jr8.

My IE/Win XP regional language/fonts settings are OK, but the problem I posted still remains. I try to explain it better.
Starting my IE all is fine and the the language of the toolbar at the top of IE window is ok. But when there are more than three tabs opened in the same IE window, the the language on the toolbar at the top of the window (and of all IE windows eventually opened...) changes into something that seems japanese and the problems remains till I restart IE. I don't think to this as a problem of my IE/Win XP regional language/fonts settings, just because it occurs only after the third tabs opened and not before...

Hi Zigrinof.

I still think that this is Internet Explorer's bug. I never heard of something like that before, so I can't help you there. Sorry .

I recommend switching to Mozilla Firefox or Opera. Or you can try contacting Microsoft customer support.

Good Luck
