SpySpotter....Help!!!I

Hello, I am hoping someone will read this and give me some direction.  I am embarasse3d by this whole situation, so please bear with me.  I must say I was very happy to see the review of SpySptter....NOT RECOMMENDED...I foolishly downloaded the FREE SpySpotter but did not read far enough to see that once I downloaded and ran the scan, only rhwn did I realize they would not remove it and I had to buy it even if I just wanted it off my computer.  They did answer, I think only because I accused them of being chislers and taking advantage of old ladies.  They told me they wqere very clear in their promotion and I should have known better etc, and henceforth read all etc.etc.  They gave me directions to remove it from my machine but of course it would not uninstall!!   No surprise there.  So I have been putting up with it popping up every time I start my computer.  Really now it is the first thing I see.  Even though I have NOT purchased it.  So, each time I close it and peridically try and remove it.  This is the part I am embarassed about, I  have been doing this since July.  And of course I have yet to get anohter response from my e-mails.  I doubt if they are going through.  But now for the worse part.  I had to renew my Norton Protection and what ever happened poor old SpySpotter now comes on in a tiny box, first thing saying error 429 and it cannot find uninstall, and I am experiencing some hanging of the computrer with this.  I am so reluctant to use my discs to put a new progrram as I will be loosing so much, however I think that is where this whole thing is headed.Does anyone have any suggestions?  I hope who ever owns Spyspotter or devised such a devious thing has to wear a  computer around therir neck in the after life.Thanks for listening, Rose
