Heya. I've got the virus/malware or something, not to sure. It is presented as Ultimate Cleaner/Fixer. It keeps coming up with Security Centre messages and I've noticed ever since I've had it my computer is running very slowly.

I downloaded HiJackthis and made a log file which is below. Just wondering if anyone can help me out.

Thanks, I appreciate your time.

Hello, visitor!

The Hijack This log analyzer has analyzed your log. Please take a closer look on the results.

Your system seems to be infected with malicious parasites. Please follow the steps below in order to eliminate the infection and clean up your computer.

1.   Download the Pocket KillBox utility. You will need it later to delete parasite-related files and folders.
2. Use HijackThis to fix the following entries:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AGEIA PhysX SysTray] C:\Program Files\AGEIA Technologies\TrayIcon.exe

3. The following entries are not malicious, but some of them are not used anymore. You may use HijackThis to fix a few of them. However, please keep in mind that some of the entries marked as Questionable or Not Needed are fully legitimate and might be required by installed software to work properly, while some others might be related to certain parasites. It is up to you to decide whether you need any of them, or not.

Hi The_General

We can analyse any HijackThis logs. No kidding . The reason why we don't accept 2.0.0 logs yet, is that this latest version is still BETA. Scan results may be inaccurate. We rely only on stable releases.

Please follow these steps:

1. Download Pocket KillBox or KillBox utility.

2. Use HijackThis to fix the following entries:
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {8ec8292c-1dd2-11b2-ab89-f7a3145f538c} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\DSxrgwsM.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [jopqbgbo.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\jopqbgbo.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Privacy tools] C:\WINDOWS\system32\stcheck32.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Ultimate Fixer] "C:\Program Files\Ultimate Fixer\UltimateFixer.exe" hide
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Ultimate Cleaner] "C:\Program Files\Ultimate Cleaner\UltimateCleaner.exe" hide

3. Now restart your system in Safe Mode. This step is very important!

4. Once in Safe Mode, use either Pocket KillBox or KillBox to delete the following files:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\jopqbgbo.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\stcheck32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\DSxrgwsM.dll
C:\Program Files\Ultimate Fixer\UltimateFixer.exe
C:\Program Files\Ultimate Cleaner\UltimateCleaner.exe

Also, delete these directories:
C:\Program Files\Ultimate Fixer
C:\Program Files\Ultimate Cleaner

5. After you get done, restart your computer, run new HijackThis scan and post a fresh log here.

Hey, I see, I didn't realise it was still a BETA version. Well the oldeer version picked up a lot more as we can see, I followed your instrictions although the following files did not exist when I went to delete them with killbox.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\DSxrgwsM.dll
C:\Program Files\Ultimate Fixer\UltimateFixer.exe
C:\Program Files\Ultimate Cleaner\UltimateCleaner.exe

Other than that all instrustions were followed and here's the new log.
