Blinking Icon in system tray

Halo!
I have a little problem with SpyAxe. I uninstalled it, i used Spyware Doctor end it erased it, but stil remains in system tray an blinkcing icon. I tried step by sep to follow the hints in this article, but i Found nothnig. Noone file was in process manager, no file listed was installed on hdd. Spyware Doctor couldn't find it, but i have this terrible icon in system tray. What to do? PLEASE HELP

Hi, DarkJB. Welcome to 2-Spyware.com forums!

To get rid of the SpyAxe blinking icon please follow these steps:

1. Download the smitRem tool.
2. Unpack its files.
3. Reboot your system into Safe Mode.
4. Run the smitRem tool (the RunThis.bat file). This should delete ioctrl.dll and svchosts.dll files, which are responsible for displaying that blinking icon.
