Ahhhhh! Hellp! I can barely even type this. Tried to download crack for PC doctor after I got pissed after I downloaded it about the fact you have to pay for it. Bad choice. I've learned my lesson. I ended up paying for anyway, but it didn't remove the problem. Neither does Windows Live OneCare. Feeling very stupid, and could really use your expertise.

2. Download smitrem at http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/smitRem.php
Start your computer at safe mode, extract the files, open it, and click RunThis. Let the program do it's work. After it's finished restart your computer normally.

3.Download the free version of SUPERAntiSpyware. Install the program, update its definitions and run a complete system scan.

4. After you get done, restart your computer, run new HijackThis scan and post a fresh log here.

After I posted the origional thread I downloaded and ran vundofix. It seemed to have taken care of the problem for the most part. Regardless though I did follow the steps you outlined so clearly today take care of the rest of the junk. Here is the log file...my computer seems to be running even smoother now.
