can't delete

I am trying to get rid of Websearch toolbar. I have found where in the registry they are, but when I try to delete them I get a window that says "unable to delete all specified values" . Also when i try to delete the folder it says "error while deleting key"
I used your tutorial on how to delete from the registry and i can't! Can you help?

Hi, bluestar50. Welcome to 2-Spyware.com forums!

To get rid of WebSearch Toolbar you should follow these steps:

1. First of all, navigate to Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs. Within the list of installed software find "Web Search Toolbar" and "Win-Tools Easy Installer" entries. Click on the Change/Remove button to remove both applications.

2. Now reboot your computer and delete C:\Program Files\Toolbar and C:\Program Files\Common Files\Wintools directories.

3. Download the HijackThis program and run a system scan. Post a fresh log here. It will be analyzed by security experts, who then will provide you with more detailed WebSearch removal instructions.
