I need anybodys help that can....
I think that my girlfriend has downloaded some type of keylogger or some type of spyware on our home computer.  How can I be sure if this is true, and how can I remove it from the desktop?

hello there,
you could talk to her:) ok, keyloggers should appear on antispyware scan results. so if you use any antispyware run a scan and see what happens. if you don't use anti spyware you can download it here.

If it is a keylogger I guess it should be using Internet to send the records to somewhere, so a log from Firewall could help to spot the thingy... However, I wouldn't rely on Windows XP built-in firewall for that purpose.
