removal of ps guard

I have had ps guard installed on my computer, I have tried everything to get rid of it. It seems to be tied to my AOL. It reinstalls everytime I sign on to AOL. Is there some way to get rid of this without buying software?

Please use a powerful legitimate anti-spyware program to scan your system and remove remaining PSGuard components. I suggest using Spyware Doctor, Microsoft AntiSpyware or Spy Sweeper.

You can also download the HijackThis program, run a system scan and post a fresh log here. It will be analyzed by security experts, who will provide you with exact PSGuard removal instructions.
