cannot remove winsys.exe

i use spyhunter to detect and remove winsys.exe, and it does so.  after rebooting my computer and running spyhunter again, it does not detect winsys.exe.  however, when i plug in my flash drive or external and try to load it from my computer by double clicking on it, it will not load up.  i have to manually right click it and select open.  afterwards when i run spyhunter again it detects winsys.exe once more.

my computer didn't use to do this before.  i even reformatted my computer hoping it would fix it but even after reformatting it does the same thing.

any advice?

hello there,
it seems to me that spyhunter doesn't delete the whole infection and it reinstalls itself again and again. is your spyhunter updated? have you tried running another antispyware? different tool may detect more files and delete more of them. the problem is not the winsys.exe file, but something that keeps reinstalling it. i suggest you try some other security tool. we have several great free anti-spyware programs on this website, you can download them right here : http://www.2-spyware.com/compare2.php

I was able to fix it.

I used spyware doctor + antivirus and did a full scan and got rid of everything.  Thank you.
