Keylogger removal/Reformat

I believe  my gf recently put a keylogger onto my computer because she has gotten into numerous accounts after ive changed the passwords. I have ran Spyware doctor, ANTISpyware and HiJackthis. Spyware doctor located a high threat level file called Exploit.Ipidief or something of this nature. I believe this is possible the keylogger. I dont want to spend the money to purchase the Spyware Doctor. To be sure I get rid of it Im just going to Reformat and re install windows xp. What do you guys recommend. I am not all that computer literate when it comes to dealing with this kind of thing.
