Doctor Antivirus 2008 for MAC

I downloaded the doctor antivirus program but did not install or run it.
Using a mac is there any way I can find out if I'm infected?

hello there,
it's difficult to tell if your computer is infected or not. if you've downloaded Doctor Antivirus 2008 because you got pop-ups related to this application or your web browser redirected you to website of DoctorAntivirus 2008 then your computer is already infected. if you don't see any obvious signs of infection, you can always run anti-spyware to check if your machine is clean. by obvious signs i mean pop-ups, security alerts from Doctor Antivirus 2008 and other programs you hadn't installed, redirects while browsing the web, no internet connection even everything is working fine, etc etc.
