help Antivirus 2009 is killing me!

Hi, I need some help...
For the past few days I had a pop-up of Security Center saying that I had viruses:((( I could not get rid of them with my Avast, so I purchased Antivirus 2009 (what an idiot!) Now I cant delete it from Program Files, and even the short cut says that the program can't be found. I read some of the other topics on here but still can't fix the problem. I need a step by step guidence PLEASE! Thank you, Dasha

just an update. I downloaded Malwarebytes and it seems that it got rid of the Antivirus 2009 files. Hopefully I'm virus free now. All I have to do now is get my $50 back that I paid for this stupid thing!
