I had Malwarebytes installed and was trying to install the trial version of Spyware Doctor.  When installing Spyware Doctor it would freeze my system and was only able to run under Safe Mode.  Not until I uninstalled Malwarebytes was I able to successfully install and use Spyware Doctor.  I thought I had read on this forum that multiple programs can be installed, what am I doing wrong?

Usually it works. I have installed malwarebytes.com couple times on PC's having Spyware Doctor. Maybe you need to disable anti-spyware protection during installation though. Also, If you got full malwarebytes version with real time protection, it might stop Spyware Doctor from launching its own.

I reccomend Spyware Doctor and Malwarebytes’ Anti-malware as ultimate protection.

if you install several antispyware to be used as on-demand scanners, there is no problem in installing several ones i think

I think the best thing to do is to uninstall your other antispyware apps, then install the new one, then run it clean. If they won't play nice together, you can simply install one at a time while uninstall the others to get a fresh, and clean sweep. I do with with COMODO and S&D all the time if I'm not sure one caught something the other missed.
