I have this same problem.
the posts on this page http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-win32-zafi-b.html
recomment removing the dll file and another file in this location:
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Google
However, I can't manually delete them and AVG and Malewarebytes can't detect them.

Please e-mail with help on how to remove these files or solve this problem!

Thank you all!

I had this pop up window 2 days ago that told me I was infected with the Win32.Zafi.B trojan also.

I shut down without clicking anything in the pop up window.

I suspected this window because Norton 360 does my security.

I then googled it on another computer

There seem to be 2 Malware bytes programs.

I used this one -  http://www.2-spyware.com/review-malwarebytes-anti-malware.html

I first ended up with another malwarebytes utility which didn't work. You need the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware one.

Simple - I downloaded, installed and performed a quick scan.

Then after about 10 mins the results came up. I made sure all the boxes were checked (ticked) and then I clicked on Remove Selected.

It prompted me to restart, which I did, and here I am now all squeaky clean and Malware free. Jobs a good un.

Hope it works for you

Oh, forgot to say that the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware download was free.

Hi,

I am not Sara who started this thread, but I happened upon this forum after we were hit last night with the Spyware 2009 program. What a mess!

I went to the link you provided and otherwise followed your instructions and it worked like a charm!

Again, thank you very much!

Sincerely,

Bernadette
