My computer has been taken over by "Privacy Components". Every time I start the machine it automatically goes to that program and begins a scan. Once the scan is done I still cannot get any control of the system. Is there a boot-disk I can get ahold of that will start the computer and remove this horrible trojan.

*Please note with the computer that is infected we can NOT connect to the internet. We can NOT get any control over the computer. We need a boot-disk of some type that will bypass the trojan so that we can get into the windows GUI and remove it.

Booting in safe-mode still loads "Privacy Components" shutting down PC with Task Manager still does not give us access to the start menu or anything.

Please help

1. boot the computer to safe mode w/ networking
2. when u see the privacy components loading on the screen,
open up the Task Manager [ctrl+alt+del]
3. go to processes tab, then look for [" PC.EXE  or  PrivacyComponents.exe "]
4. left click that, then click "End Task" (it should be gone on the screen)
5. then after that, click on the " File tab " then click on " New Task Run "
6. Type in " explorer.exe " then click ok.... ( you should see the desktop now )

7. download malwarebytes in the internet [ http://malwarebytes.gt500.org/mbam-setup.exe ]
8. Install & update the File
9. perform " Quick Scan "
10. remove infections then restart the computer!

** hope this would help, goodluck ^_^

i find formatting to be the best option....
as soon you install new OS.
Just downland new anitvirus and start auto scan, also disable scan messages.
