Spyware Protect 2009

I registered here to thank whoever is responsible for putting up the instructions on how to delete malicious spyware.

A few months ago Spyware Protect 2009 started popping up. I thought it was a real message from Windows. I didn't have time to deal with it so I just deleted the message. But over time it started popping up at shorter intervals. Today, it was continuous and I couldn't even type an email. It was infuriating! At that point I realized that instead of protecting me from spyware, it was the spyware and I needed protection from it.

I am not computer saavy, but googled the name to see if anyone else was having problems. Sure enough, it wasn't just me. I researched a few forums and tried their instructions. But it was all too complicated for me. When I managed to find the program, it wouldn't even let me delete it. :x

What a blessing when I found this site! I never thought I could get rid of this awful spyware myself. But I followed the instructions the best I could. I was in shock when I was finally able to delete it!

What a pleasure it's been the past few hours with no more pops ups from those horrible people. Someone should sue them for invaving computers like that.

could you plz write down the steps about your way to block pop ups

If you are referring your question to me, all I remember is that the steps to erase this are somewhere on this website.

Since then I had a similar problem, but was able to go to 'Computer Reset', and reset to an earlier time- in other words, a week before I had this other problem.

Sorry I can't help you any further, but I'm pretty computer illiterate.
