A Tip for Killing System Security

II hope this might help some of the distressed users here. They are saying they cannot kill System Security because it prevents starting any software that can attack its process. Same here but I was still able to use Microsoft's ProcessExplorer to kill it.

The trick was, immediately upon bootup, to click on ProcessExplorer and red-X the random number filename that System Security uses to disguise itself, before SS could kill ProcessExplorer. In other words, it required winning the race.

This was on a relatively slow computer, but it did work. After then mopping up the dirt with Ant-Malware the computer is now OK once again. (Notes - I downloaded ProcessExplorer and Ant-Malware in Safe Mode with Networking. System Security had messed up browser addressing, so it was necessary to manually type in the URLs for the programs.) I hope this makes some sense, as I have omitted many small details.

Thank you rocky. We appreciate your contribution. Microsoft Process Explorer is a very useful tool in this case. System security does block Process Explorer, but if you rename procexp.exe to explorer.exe then you should be able to open this tool. You can use KillBox program too (download from http://killbox.net). It is very similar to Microsoft Process Explorer. And you are right about the URLs, because SS actually hijacks Internet browsers.
