Trouble removing Windows Police pro

Windows XP service pack 3 on a dellXP400

started a week ago not being able to open any program directly".$%^# is not a valid win32 application". managed to get AVG to start by right clicking on my Firefox link to have AVG scan it, then used AVG to scan the system. it came up with a hidden driver which it apparently quarrentined but could not remove, things went to normal. 2 days later the .$%^# is not a valid win32 application. junk starts, I get to your site, try to reach taskmgr on the run menu, taskmgr is not a valid win32 application. I have ditched windows police pro. exe and a few others on your remove list by tricking open windows explorer. set the search parameter as per your suggest to find hidden files, they are counted as number found on the left but the list is blank. if i try to download and install something new a blue and white dialog box pops up asking what i want to run the new program with, i do not recognise this box and think it migjht be part of the malware. any suggestions of how to break the ice here, i have freed up the audio drivers by what i have done so far, but want to get this contraption back to normal

boot your computer in Safe mode with networking. Then remove Windows Police Pro files as said in the manual removal guide. Finally, download SuperAntispyware and scan your computer. SuperAntispyware downlaod link:
