I am another Antivirus System sufferer but in my case I am unable to access any files and unable to log into Internet Explorer.  I cannot access any other brower either  - it just makes a bubble sound.  With that being the case I cannot follow the removal instructions that say you must be able to go into the  Internet.
I also downloaded the Removal Program to a CD hoping for the best and nothing worked.  So...folks, I just don't have a clue what to do.  I am a novice at this stuff but thought I could follow your great instructions but so far nothing.  HELP please.

Hello Bea,

1. Reboot your PC in "Safe Mode with Networking". As the computer is booting tap the "F8 Key" constantly which should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu", example here: http://pcanand.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/safe_mode_01_01.jpg

Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode with Networking" and press your Enter key. More info here: http://www.computerhope.com/issues/chsafe.htm

2. Open Internet Explorer (or other browser if you have) and download an anti-spyware application from here: http://www.pctools.com/downloads/afl_2-spyware/sdsetup.exe

NOTE: if you can't download it using Internet Explorer do as follows:
a) In Internet Explorer click on the Tools menu and then select Internet Options
b) In the Internet Options screen click on the Connections tab
c) Now click on the Lan Settings button and uncheck the checkbox labeled Use a proxy server for your LAN. Then click OK.

3. Install downloaded anti-spyware application, update it and run a full system scan. Remove found infections.

Good luck!
