Help!

My wife's home computer contracted the "Security 2010" virus / spyware. It froze up everything, and display all these pop-up ads, warnings, scan results, etc.I was only until I found your ridiculously wonderful sight, and researched what I could to remove this dastardly, malicious piece of evil genius, that I understood the full damage this thing can cause.

At first, I was still able to access the internet, so I downloaded Spy-bot (this was before I found your site the next day). I ran a scan, and it was able to block SOME of the processes, but not much. I found your site the next day at work. I then returned home, only to find that internet access had been blocked. So I went to Office Max and bought the Spyware Doctor. I returned home, and ran the software. It was great! It worked almost perfectly. Everything returned to normal after I ran an "Intelliscan" and then a "full" computer scan. That computer had 13 threats, and 41 infections!!

The pop up ads, warnings, scan results, green colored desktop, etc were all gone. And once I adjusted my desktop settings, the shadowed desktop icons were back to normal. BUT - when I tried the internet, the screen would come up for about a second, and then disappear. I have both Explorer and FireFox, and both do the same thing! You see our page, and then WHAM - gone!

I tried to re-install explorer and firefox, to no avail. The screen just disappears! I do not no enough about what processes to kill (or if even that is the problem) but I suspect somthing is still blocking my viewing the internet??

Please help. Any suggestions would be appreciated...
