Local area connection problems.

Hey, I was recently attacked by the XP Security center 2010 virus, And by reading some of the topics on this forum, I was able to remove it. IT also took my Rundll32.exe with it, But I managed to sort that out, but now I've encountered a new problem.

My ps3 is connected via ethernet cable to my pc, And ever since This virus infected my pc, It has come up as "limited or no connectivity". Even after removing the virus, the problems still persist.

I have tried upgrading my drivers, Used WinSock, I've uninstalled and re-installed it, It's in the "exceptions" tab on my firewall, and I've turned off my firewall and I downloaded the patch to the SP2 bug, which makes the connection mess up, but it still won't work.

When I run a connection test on my PS3, it fails to obtain an IP.

I didn't mess with any settings before or after this happened, And I have no idea on what to do next.

I'm not very good at computing, and I'm quite nervous about further wrecking it, so any advice would be much appreciated.

Also, I apologize in advance if this is posted in the wrong place, but I'm in a hurry to get this sorted ASAP.
