Hello
Everyday some nasty spammers fill up my e-mail box with loads of unsolicited mails and adverts. I had to face up to this and leave the problem unresolved, because this is my primary mailbox used at work and I cannot change it. Few days ago I noticed some new spam. This one differs from other letters. I thinks it comes from a porn site. The most interesting thing is that it is full of commercial banners showing girls photos and exact location where I live. Even my ISP is specified!

So, how did spammers find out where I live and what ISP I use?

Hello,

The first thing why they find you is registration to poker, porno, cracks and sites alike.  Also there are a lot of sites which may give your email to third-parties which causes spam to your email.

Second thing is so-called "robots" which scan sites and looks for emails and when they find some, they send emails about viagra, porno, poker, etc.

The advice would be do not browse in questionable sites and also.. do not give your primary email address until it is neccessary, I have an email created for Internet use, i mean i give it when i write comments in sites or register somewhere, in case not to get spam letters in my primary email.
