Can anyone help?  I have run ad-aware SE and NAV and all is clean, but I am still getting pop-ups.  Does the following HJT log show anything?

These are not malicious, but simply aren't used anymore.

What pop-ups are you getting? Can you describe them in more details or provide a screenshot of them?

Thanks for the response....  I will clean up the ones you mentioned.  

The pop-ups I get are very generic.  The latest one is a Victoria Secrets ad with the word "advertisement" in the dialogue title bar.  I was getting ads from "trafficmp" , but I haven't seen it in the title bar lately.  I have run Crap Cleaner and Ewido, they each clean-upped a few things, but the ads are still popping up, periodically.

Your system is still clean. I don't think that it is infected with some kind of adware parasites. It sounds like you are getting advertisements while surfing the Internet. If this is correct, it is nothing to worry about. A lot of web sites including the legitimate ones use pop-up advertisements. Although it is recommended to block or close them, they shouldn't make any harm to your system.

So, on which site is your web browser opened when an advertisement appears? How often do you receive pop-ups? Do you receive them while surfing the Internet?

I get pop-ups when I'm surfing yahoo and yahoo internal links and I just got a pop-up while I was typing this.  I don't believe I should be getting pop-ups from either of these websites.  I think a prcess must be running in the background or I.E. is infected with a pop-ad generator like inqwire.  What do you think?

I think I've found the program that might be responsible for displaying all those pop-up advertisements.

Please follow these steps to get rid of it:

1. Use HijackThis to fix the following entries:

We have other PCs using UltimateBet without the pop-ups.  We use UlitmateBet to play on-line Texas Hold'em.  I don't think that is the problem.  I suppose we could just re-install it, if that doesn't resolve the pop-ups.  Why do you think that is the problem?

Well, I'm not absolutely sure, but you should uninstall the program and work for a while without it. See if advertisements still appear. I know that UltimateBet is legitimate software. However, I have heard that in some cases it may serve advertisements similar to yours.

You should post some screenshots of those advertisements. This should help me to recognize the threat.
