Hey all, what I have to do to completely remove Norton Antivirus from the system?

This question may look like a stupid one, but I am really concerned with all those stories of inability to get rid of Norton programs. The reason why I'm asking you is that my NAV subscription expires and I want to replace Norton software with different tools.

Just go through to the step of uninstalling in the manual....... if it is not working then
post for further problems you are facing.

Download Perfect Uninstaller. It will forcibly remove any Norton Corporate Edition without Password COMPLETELY! Once that's all done and any remnant of Norton has been totally removed, you can get on with adding your favourite AntiVirus Software...

If you reformat and reinstall, it wont restart the subscription Ive done it before.  It will only continue any subscription that you had left.

You are better off reformatting and then just installing your own security software.
