i have spy falcon. already got spyware doctor and did a full sweep. it got rid of it, and immediatly came back. i also ran windows defender(windows antispyware beta2). i dont know what to do know. please help

need help. how come every1 else gets replies but me. and i kno u gotta get those two programs, and all that. but i dont know how to reboot in safe mode. please help GTO.

im not the most knowledgeable person around, but it is a weekend and he/she is probably out. Regardless, safemode in windows xp involves holding f8 at the startup, like RIGHT WHEN you start your computer up, if your not using xp, then i dont know, just trying to help.

Hi, Skeetzy.

Your system is clean from SpyFalcon. But it is still infected with malicious parasites. Please follow these steps in order to eliminate the infection:

1. Download the Pocket KillBox utility.

2. Click on the Start button, then select Run... and type in msconfig. This should launch the Windows Configuration Utility. Select the Services tab within it and find the following entry: Boonty Games - BOONTY. Uncheck it and apply changes by pressing the Apply button.

3. Use HijackThis to fix the following entries:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SysWsa32] C:\WINDOWS\system32\WSA32.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [winupdates] C:\Program Files\winupdates\winupdates.exe /auto
O4 - Global Startup: Defender Pro Firewall.lnk = ?
O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {08B0E5C0-4FCB-11CF-AAA5-00401C608501} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\msjava.dll (file missing)
O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Sun Java Console - {08B0E5C0-4FCB-11CF-AAA5-00401C608501} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\msjava.dll (file missing)

4. Now restart your system in Safe Mode. This step is very important!

5. Once in Safe Mode, use Pocket KillBox to delete the following files:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\BEWLDR32.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\system32\WSA32.exe
C:\Program Files\winupdates\winupdates.exe
C:\Program Files\Common Files\BOONTY Shared\Service\Boonty.exe

Also delete the following folders:
C:\Program Files\winupdates
C:\Program Files\Common Files\BOONTY Shared

6. After you get done, restart your computer, run a new HijackThis scan and post a fresh log here.

Hey, how important are those common files. i accidently deleted some of the other folders in it. I clicked delete on common files, than cancelled, but iono how many folders it deleted. i hope they arent that important. but heres the log

Hi, Skeetzy.

Some of the Common Files are very important! Never delete them again! I told you to remove only the C:\Program Files\Common Files\BOONTY Shared directory.

As for your log, it still isn't clean. Please follow these steps:

1. Use HijackThis to fix the following entry:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SysWsa32] C:\WINDOWS\system32\WSA32.EXE

2. Use Pocket KillBox to delete the following file:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\WSA32.EXE

3. Download a trial version of the ewido anti-malware program. Install it, perform a full scan of your system and remove all the threats that will be detected.

yea, i kno not to delete them, i didnt realize it said boonty games. but that file u said to delete with kill box. kill box says it doesnt exist. i searched for it too. but im using the ewido now. after this i have to go on my other login and post a log.

Smiley Go to spyware-fighter.com and download SpyFalcon removal tool..Then start your computer in safe mode and run this tool...It will show like spy-die..click on GO..then restart your computer in normal mode..Now there will be no SpyFalcon in your computer... :lol:

actually Ad-aware can remove SPYFALCON immediately. it is effective. and it's free, just remember to check for live updates before scanning
