I've tried all the instructions at the below link to remove 'Spyware Quake' but it still remains.  Anyone else having trouble with this irritating infection?? Any help appreciated... Sad

I should also mention that I've thrown 'Spy Doctor' and  'SpySweeper' at this 'Spyware Quake' infection with no luck. Also had the suite of Mcafee Security Manager on the whole time. Again, any help is appreciated...

I installed a new lisenced version on Spy Sweeper today (3-26-06)  
Spy Sweeper did not remove SpywareQuake.

I had AVG running when i got infected.   Avg did not detect or stop it on my box.

I tried to installed Norton AntiVirus on my box,  norton  was not able to fully instal its self.  (I hate Norton).  Norton said that It " could not repair this feature"  WTF that means?

I am trying Spyware Dr now

I ended up going into safe mode and deleting the stickrep.dll file in C:\Windows\System32\stickrep.dll After that, it wouldn't reinstall itself anymore.
