SpywareGuard Application Question

I recently had an infection of SpywareQuake and Trojan Zolob, but Vet did a great job of helping me nail it.  I have been "clean" now since then, and have added a bunch of programs as suggested by vet.  One change that seems to be even better is I replaced zonealarm with my Nvidia built in hardware firewall which is part of my MSI board.  

Another one of the new programs I installed was the SpywareGuard.  I noticed recently, however, that the definitions are dated from 2004?  How affective can it be if the definitions are that old?  Is my program missing an update for it?  Thank you.

Definitions for SpywareGuard seem to be outdated. It sounds like Javacool Software, makers of SpywareGuard give more attention to other products. That's why I suggest using SpywareBlaster instead of SpywareGuard. SpywareBlaster is very similar application, but it looks more powerful and advanced to me.
