Have spyware, don't know what to do!!!

Hi EVERYBODY,

I just contacted spyware by clicking on this link, and wham I had all this stuff popping up on my computer screen.  I've called the people at the Geek Squad but I didn't know you had to pay for their services.  I have these two files on my C:// drive nj.exe and winstall.exe that I can't delete.  Whenever I try to, the next time I reboot my computer they are back.  Taking suggestions from other postings I have downloaded HIGHJACKTHIS.  Below is my outputted log.  Please anyone out there can you help me with understanding all this stuff, and how to eradicate it from my computer!!!!

Please follow these steps:

1. Download Pocket KillBox or KillBox utility.

2. Use HijackThis to fix the following entries:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [funk] funk.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Windows installer] C:\winstall.exe
O20 - Winlogon Notify: WRNotifier - WRLogonNTF.dll (file missing)

3. Now restart your system in Safe Mode. This step is very important!

4. Once in Safe Mode, use either Pocket KillBox or KillBox to delete the following files:
c:\nj.exe
C:\winstall.exe
C:\Windows\System32\funk.exe

5. Reboot your computer. Download the trial version of ewido anti-malware. Install the program, update its definitions and run a complete system scan. Remove all the threats the application will find.

6. After you get done, run new HijackThis scan and post a fresh log here.


P.S. Your system is not up-to-date! You have to install Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Windows XP and Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Internet Explorer. Also apply all latest updates and security fixes.
