Help!!

2. Open the Control Panel, double-click on the Network Connectios icon and launch the Local Area Connection tool. Click Properties. Double-click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) entry. Select the Obtain DNS server automatically option or enter addresses of your Internet service provider's default DNS servers manually. Apply changes.
3. After you get done, restart your computer, run new HijackThis scan and post a fresh log here.
P.S. Your system is not up-to-date! You have to install Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Internet Explorer 7. Also apply all latest updates and security fixes. |

I note your comments about SP2 but when I tried to install it some time ago it told me that I didn't have SP1 and therefore wouldn't install SP2!

1. Download the FixWareout tool. Install and run it. Restart your computer if the tool asks to.
2. Use HijackThis to fix the following entries:

Hi john44787.
The FixWareout tool identifies and removes files related to some widely spread, but yet difficult malware, which is responsible for hijacks, parasite downloads, unauthorized installs, etc. Don't worry, it's safe as long as you download it from legitimate security sites.
Your last HijackThis looks clean to me. No more redirects, I suppose? |
