My building experienced something funky with the internet on Apr 19. Everyone who was connected got this surge of lag that pretty much stopped any operations. It would take at least 5-10 minutes for the computer to boot up. I have written Canopy Networks about it to see what happened and still waiting for a response.

Anyway everything is up and running, but now my computer beeps uncontrollably. It starts off at slow intervals, then it speeds up and becomes almost constant. Anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?

Sounds like a hardware problem. You get beeps from your computer itself or attached speakers?
