Post Post subject: IEXPLORE.exe Reply with quote

no i did not misspell it, it is IEXPLORE.exe and i cant delete it i have no IE browser up and it is still there. When i try to end the process in the task manager if just comes back up it looks like it is named safecast.exe just for a sec before it renames it. Please help me

please get an anti spyware, download updates and run a scan. if the problem is still there, please report it here.

I did run it with all the updates and it is still on my system i can close it manually but it reopens every 15 min or so

hello again.
IEXPLORE.exe can be installed and used by several parasites. and i'm not sure what do you need to delete as i don't know what parasite is on your computer. it would be really helpful if you tell what parasite is identified when you run anti-spyware. apparently you don't remove all the malicious files and some of them recreates IEXPLORE.exe.

Well, if IEXPLORE.exe does activate each time it is terminated, it is definitely an infection. Usually terminated processes won't reactivate until system reboots.
