Hi,

I have been receiving popups that says "Windows Explorer has stopped working", afterwhich it closes, and another popup says "Window Explorer is restarting." Then, the Window Explorer refreshes itself and the vicious cycle continues (Just as I'm typing) I can't shut down my comp properly and the speed of my comp is rather slow at times.

I have already run ad-ware, spybot and norton and deleted a few harmful files away..it was a little better initially but now it's back. Can someone help me pls? I'm so lost..Thanks very much.

Whilst scanning, there was a popup that says,
" For some reason your system denies write access to the Hosts file. If any hijacked domains are in this file, Hijackthis may not be able to fix this. If that happens, ou need to edit the file yourself. To do this, click Start, Run and type: Notepad C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts and press Enter. Find the line(s) Hijackthis reports and delete them. Save the file as "hosts". (with quites) and reboot.

Your log doesn't show any real signs of infections. It's hard to determine what is going wrong exactly with your computer? My guess it's hardware malfuction.
