Post Post subject: My Hijackthis Log HELP PLEASE!!!! Reply with quote

My problem: iexplore.exe and svchost.exe uses 50% of the system... ALL THE TIME!!! I tried to end the process with alt+ctrl+del but they keep comming back. I scan the computer with Kaspersky (las virus definition), Spybot (updated) and AdAware Free (updated), but they found nothing. I didn't know what else to do, so I installed HijackThis and here is the log analysis:

hello
both iexplore.exe and svchost.exe are legitimate files, but other files with the same names can be installed by malware or the legitimate ones can be manipulated by computer parasites. BUT if the files on your computer would be malicious, your security tools would alert you. if you're still suspicious, i suggest you try some other anti spyware to see if they pick up anything. you can find anti spyware tools here.

I used -SuperAntiSpyware (updated) and naw I'm clean. It deleted one file called update.exe or update32.exe (don't remember exactly). Now explore.exe and svchost.exe work fine, the don't use 50% of the system anymore. Thanks!!!!
